2. Administrative Adjournments for Non-Priority Proceedings

South Auckland Courts are currently working through all non-priority proceedings scheduled for today, Monday and Tuesday to be administratively adjourned

The Registry will be in contact with counsel and parties to provide rescheduled hearing dates for today’s non-priority proceedings.

3. Obtaining Instructions from Clients in a Northern Region Prison

Please find attached a 1-page Instruction Sheet for counsel who need to obtain instructions from clients in a Northern Region Prison.

4. Manukau Court Deep Clean – Undertaken Thursday 19 August

For extra precaution, at 8pm last night (Thursday 19 August), the entire Manukau Court building underwent a deep clean.

Due to the dynamic list of Contact Tracing Locations of Interest throughout the day, please email Moana Ieremia immediately if anyone working on-site at the Court has been to any of the locations of interest during the relevant time or is a household contact.

This will enable the Court to get a hold of Healthline for advice on next steps. Measure that will be put in place at the Court will include closing off relevant areas, deep clean and change of personnel in the relevant area.
