Compass Lawyers is a newly incorporated, vibrant and forward-thinking small law firm based in Auckland. We undertake a variety of legal work for clients throughout New Zealand and China.
We are looking for highly motivated, reliable personnel to join us primarily to provide support for the director in the areas of property, trusts, estates, immigration and commercial law. This is an opportunity for all year law students. Whilst this is a part-time position (10 -20 hours per week), there is a potential for the position to become full-time.
We are currently trying to secure office premises in the city fringe of Auckland so this will be work from home to start with. However, the successful candidate will be required to work in the office in the future.
Key attributes for this role:
- Excellent written and verbal English and Mandarin;
- Conscientiousness with good work ethic and a ‘can do’ attitude and strong attention to details;
- Legal research skills;
- A flexible and adaptable approach to tasks and varied demands;
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage deadlines;
- Microsoft Office Skills
